Remembrance Day

Remembrance Day

In Australia, at 11.00am today, it is customary to remember Australia’s dead and injured, and perhaps all, that have resulted from war and other conflicts, with a 1 minute silence.

Although it is unlikely the phones will stop, perhaps take what time you can to remember the sacrifice of those who went before.

During the Great War alone Australia lost over 1 in 10 of it’s population of fewer than 5 million.

This is an email that I got at work today, so good to ensure that the many cultures in our office know why we are doing this. Fantastic that it is sent to all of us and we should take some time.

Up next Epcot and coming home ... already! serving - learning - living come if you can!
